PHPizabi.com Support Forum Ripped me off Internet
PHPizabi is a free open-source dating script. However, it needs several modules and modifications in order to function properly as a fully featured community portal. These features of course cost money. Even simple things like "who is online" require a person to shell out money for this very simple feature.
I'm not here to put down PHPizabi. I am here to let you know about the PHPizabi.com support forum. This is where you can apparently purchase the Mods for PHPizabi and supposedly get support.
However, my experience on this forum has been nothing short of a complete nightmare. The support there is horrendous. The adminstrators are rude and will not answer your private messages in regard to anything PHPizabi or programming related. In fact, their private messaging system has been turned off so you can't send them your complaints and/or technical concerns.
This is even after you have given them $30 for Mod Club status so you can supposedly enhance your dating site.
Most of the Mods don't work. Or have very serious security concerns, php incompatiblity issues, or are just plain crap.
There are posts on the forum which have gone unresolved for up to a year. When the original poster tries to update their concerns, they are basically told to shut up or they'll be banned, are given a public tongue lashing and a guilt trip, or are just banned.
If you are a user of PHPizabi, do NOT go to the PHPizabi.com support forum for help and definitely do NOT give them any money. Just read through the posts and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.
PHPizabi.net is a much better resource and much nicer. They actually help you with your problems are not always asking your for money while othewise ignoring you.
