Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Dr. Harmon violates professional standard of care by not validating his survey

instrument, and does not honor the appeal clause of his contract.  He states he has a "Executive Committee" which on review of his business information, could not even possibly exist, leading to an unethcal representation of his "Program".  Dr. Harmon in my situation further violated federal law when notified of an impending HIPAA investigation related to a case that lead to my referal for his evaluation, decided to  proceed with counseling measures. As a consequence, he is now under investigation with the Office of Civil Rights.

I have further filed a complaint with the FL Health Department for license suspension or license revocation based on:

1)    Dr. Harmon's violated Federal Law that 45 C.F.R. Section 164.502(a).

2)    Dr. Harmon's uses of deceptive contractual agreements that harasses clients, and falsifies a factitious body referred to as an Executive Committee .

3)    Dr. Harmon refuses to use validate testing data used to render assessments of his clients.

I have known Larry Harmon since he was in high school.  I met him when he was fifteen. He had a scholarship to a private school but his allowance was only $3 per week.  I helped him get a job at the International House of pancakes in Connecticut.  He worked every weekend for two years so he could afford to go to college.  He was Valedictorian of his school and earned a living unlike the spoiled rich kids he went to school with at Cherry Lawn.  He was brilliant and hard working.  So he got a scholarship to NYU in order to study psychology. His mother died when he was six, and his cheapskate father who was a scientist lived in a tiny trailer in Missouri. At his graduation his father said to me, "I just hate the kid." But couldn't given a reason, after all he only contributed $3 a week to his education.  While attending NYU for four years, he worked every week and paid his own way. He was graduated with honors and worked his way through his Masters and Ph.D. In the time of his Ph.D. studies he worked with Vietnam Veterans and the doctors who treated him. His goal in life was always to make people happy and to feel fulfilled. Today was his birthday and he just turned 65.  The person who wrote the report used sub-standard English, so he couldn't be a physician and he doesn't sound like he was ever a psychological patient of his.  Larry Harmon has always used a very honest, concise and direct approach when dealing with other people's problems. I have never seen him being rude or acting inappropriately. Please note that I have known him for 50 years, and I have seen him mature from fifteen to sixty-five. I feel the complaint stated is confusing and not indicative of a therapist who has tried to help patients his whole career. Both psychologists and medical doctors have held him in the highest regard.
