Picasso Autobody unsafe and piss poor autorepair job Long Island City New York
hi on iwas rear ended by another car,crushed my trunk floor,trunk lid and rail.A tow truck appeared out of no where and offered me his shop sevices,at first I was leery then decided to give it a try since I depend on car daily.(tthey finally were authorized to begin work on car . when I went to get my car I saw things a little out of place but since IM not that knoiwledgable about some auto repair,I though little of it.afetr driving my car for the day,I did a very careful inspection of the work and even took my car to other reputable repair shops who even said the work was shoddy.Trunk lid was not replaced,paid for a recycled one,paint drip dried and oversprayed,cheap paint and clear coat used and last but not least the trunk floor is un safe,pulled but not repaired,not even the bad spots cut out or replaced,holes in the trunk water leaking in and trunk bent and not lined up.I called geico and they wont even consider not paying and told me that I have to take it up with shop because it not their authrized partner.I cant even let my kids sit in the back seat because of the un safe work,God forbid if im ever rear ended before I get my car repaired correctly.to everybody beware of shops who compromise your safety for their undying greed,Peace!
