Pierce Construction, C/o Ron Pierce ripoff, does not keep their word concerning guarantee on work Charlotte, North Carolina
On January 11, 2002, Pierce Construction c/o Ron Pierce worked on the foundation of our home where the foundation was cracking. We were charged $8,000.00 to repair the foundation and a 5-year guarantee for the work done, On April 2003, the house foundation began cracking again. We contacted Pierce Construction and spoke with Ron and informed him of the problem. Ron stopped by the house and told us the reason, it was cracking was due to not having rain, well it rained shortly after and the house was still cracking, but in areas now that was not previously the fault.
I phone Ron again and told him of the situation, Ron never responded to my request. I then contacted Action 9 to see if we could get some resolution to the problem and was told by Action 9 they could not locate the company at the given location and they asked us to contact them if we could get up with Pierce Construction. We finally located the new address via the internet and contacted him again on September 27, 2004. Ron never responded to our call and we again tried to get Action 9 to assist us. We were told to contact the Better Business Bureau, which we did and filed a complaint. We would like to alert all consumers of this situation so you will not be taken in by the company. Our house is still cracking and we are unable to pay another $8,000.00 at the moment to have this repaired. The address give me were 9029 Landsburg Lane, but this is not the correct address. They have changed their street address along with their phone number. Again, we were given a 5-year warranty on the work performed which is good until January 2007, but this company does not respect their guaranty and I would like to inform all of you consumers, please do not be taken in by this company as we have been.
