Pimsleur Approach to language learning. Pimsleur language learning is a scam Internet
Pimsleur lures customers into purchasing an intro level to their language learning program and then automatically charges their credit cards for full courses. They say it's only $9.99, then wind up charging your account for hundreds of dollars for additional programs that you have not ordered. They say that the terms are outlined clearly on the web, but they are not. There is not clearn indication that customers are charged for items that they did not subscribe to. It is a ripoff, and a scam. DO NOT DO PIMSLEUR!

I have purchased the Spanish quick and simple. So I know what I am talking about. On the site before you even look at the video or go any where else. It tells you that there is a rapid learning program. If you notice the $29.95 is slashed out and $9.95 is put next to it. This is a promotional offer.

It says it right there. It is not hidden, no small print. if you want more info you can even click for more details. The company is not bad because when I called to cancel prior to future shipments, they cancelled. Even if you get an advanced shipment if you call with in 30 days you are not charged.
This is not the companys fault that you did not read the site, the confirmation email or even the literature that comes along with t he package. Take responsibilty for the fact that you made a mistake and did not pay attention. All you have to do is read. They do not even hide the terms.
