I have returned two full language courses both in good condition for a $100 refund each for a total of $200.  They were returned on March 26, 2014 and February 28, 2014.  I have bought prior courses from Pimsleur marketplace and have received refunds so I did complete all the paperwork correctly and also have confirmation of delivery.  After not seeing a credit on my credit card after several months I contacted the company multiple times. I have left 5 voicemails and sent 4 emails including some of the emails directly through their website.

Because of the lack of a refund and the lack of a response from Pimsleur Marketplace I would highly recommend you do not buy the language courses if you plan to use the buyback program.

I'm very disappointed with the program as I have been a loyal customer for many years and have purchased many programs prior.

December 10, 2014: please be aware looks like him pimsleur marketplace has changed their name to language course marketplace.  This could be because of all the bad reviews about them and not refunding properly.

Still no refund after promises from CEO of company

At the end of August I received an email from the CEO of the company stating that they had been dealing with some issues and knew that they were not refunding people for the buyback program.  They apologized and asked me to submit a form online, which I did on September 1.  The email from the CEO of the company stated that after completing the request refund checks would be sent out in 14 days.  After not hearing from them for a period of 6 weeks.  I began to call and leave messages again and leave emails.  I have done this now multiple times and still have not received any response whatsoever.

I was amazed when they 1st did not send back refunds as many people had complained and then I was astounded after getting an email from the CEO of the company stating that they were aware of the problem and were dealing with it that they would began to read send refunds but after a period of nearly 4 months now still no refund check and no responses.  I am not an attorney  but this appears to be fraudulent activity.

If someone is out there is considering legal action against the company I am happy to participate and provide you my information.  I do not know if the Atty. Gen. in the state they are located is aware of this activity but it is somewhat disappointing that this activity continues in this state.
