We sold our home the end of June 2009 and informed the buyer of our security information (i.e. account number, password). We placed this information in the manual on how to use the security system, which was installed by Pinnacle. Unfortunately, the buyer contacted Pinnacle, instead of our new security company.
The buyer reported that when he called Pinnacle, gave our account information and stated that he wanted to transfer our contract to him; he was not informed that the contact had been sold on
Pinnacle then locked the buyer into a three year contract and left us to pay the cancellation fee to our current security company.
