I was interested in furthering my education, so i thought I'd give pioneer pacific College a try. i called, went in a talked with a counselor. She was very cordial and comforting. After she told me the price and about the *SAT* test, My spider senses went off. Something just didn't feel right. I was supposed to take the test last week, but didn't go. I decided to look up and see if there were any complaints or problems with the school. I am sure glad i did. The complaints really opened my eyes and reaffirmed my suspicions. Just a reminder to make sure you do your homework before making a decision the can have grave consequences. Thanks to those who wrote on here and gave their honest opinion of what's really going on.

In order to properly determine this schools legitimacy, consider the following:

As of May 22 2012, eleven rip off reports were filed in the space of seven years. How many graduates went through the various programs at the various locations and were successful in that amount of time? Yeah, plenty. Surely there will be the exceptions that you can find here. And there will be bitter dropouts which you can also find here.

I went through the CNT (Associate Degree) program in Springfield Oregon from 2007-2009. After graduating, I couldn't find a job with an Associates; the economy had just tanked. Oh darn! So I moved north and completed the IT (Bachelor Degree) program in Wilsonville from 2009-2011. With a cumulative -A GPA and my degree(s), I went on the job hunt in a still-shaky economy.

In late 2011 after months of hard searching and hearing nothing back from anyone that I applied to, I received three career-making job offers in one day. Naturally I picked the one that was best for me. Now I work for a great company that offers amazing benefits and quite a nice salary. I'll be going to graduate school for my MBA (Master of Business Administration) paid 100% by this company in the fall of 2012.

As for the cost: all my student loans that I had to take out during my time at PPC? I'll be set to pay them all off in two years with my current pay, which coincidentally will be about the same time I finish that MBA. In other words debt free with a Master's degree.

I'll tell you straight up, No BS, PPC was instrumental in helping me achieve this. And here is why: you get what you put in to it. I put everything I had into studying the material, getting to class every day, and not being like some of the other students who slacked off and didn't do hardly any of the work. The work paid off, literally.

Those that say the cost is too much or the school is a sham are blatant liars - not only to everyone else, but also to themselves.
