Pitney Bowes Deceptive, and Sneaky ripoff Louisville Kentucky
Pitney Bowes sends ads out offering 2 free months service (you have to purchase $30 postage to activate). At the end of the free trial you can rent or return their machine. They do not say that you are LOCKED in to a contract for 1 year.
I guess they cannot get customers without forcing people to purchase from them.
We knew we would be charged a monthly fee at the end of the free trial, and we used the machine for a few months. We have a small business and this was not working out for us.
When we called about returning the machine, we were told that we had to keep it for 1 year and if we attempted to return it we would be charged for the year anyway.
This is NOT good business and I want other people to know that they should not do business with such an underhanded deceptive company. Do not fall for their false advertising.
