She had sent me a coin that was a copy. I returned the item, but never received a refund. I'm out over $1000 and she, eBay, and all the law enforcement agencies I contacted are not doing anything to stop her. I can't believe she is allowed to get away with this. Tell everyone you can to boycott her.

Well it looks like Pjd1966 is no longer a registered user on ebay as of this afternoon. I wish you luck but watch for others that may be seeling such items and opening a new account in the near futute.

I have done all the things you have suggested, to no avail. The lawyer I contacted was not willing to take on a case involving such a "small" amount over such a long distance. Local law enforcement gave me no hope of ever recovering anything. Paypal said the time frame for action had expired because I had been "working" with this woman to resolve the problem. Little did I know she was only delaying action until it was too late for me to get anything constructive done with Paypal. She knows all the angles, and has made millions from ripping people off. I just don't understand why she is allowed to continue to do this. It is obviously fraud and she belongs in jail.

Hi James. I'm sorry that you, like so many others have been scammed by this seller. It is also sad that you probably won't be the last. A couple things that may help you: First of all, when you returned the item to her, did you send it with Delivery Confirmation? This does not mean it required a signature, just that it would be scanned by the mail carrier at the point of delivery. If you sent it with DC, you can get copies of the records you need from the post office. Second, did you pay with Paypal? If so, you may be able to force the seller to refund your money. Most of the time, Paypal will side with the buyer (especially if you have proof that you returned the item to her). In order to have law enforcement do anything for you, you need to file a complaint at your local police station. From there, the police will forward all information provided to the proper authorities. Since this is also mail fraud, you may be able to file a complaint with your post office. This is worth looking into. Also, internet fraud crosses state lines, so you may want to look into what federal complaints you can file. Contact an attorney with a free initial consultation so that you don't have to shell out even more money over this woman. Hope some of this helps. There is a large group of people who are working hard to get her banned off eBay (and hopefully behind bars). You're not alone.
