I'd like to let everyone know about a nightmare that happened to me involving Plagtracker. I was looking for an online tool to check my university paper (which I wrote myself and not copied from elsewhere on the web) and came across Plagtracker. It was free so I decided to give it a try. I wish I never did! Not only did it provide me with soem useless bogus rating like "35% plagiarised" - that a paper I have written myself without copying from anywhere - but when I submitted it at the university my professor said I submitted a paper from an online paper mill and I failed it! Looks like they are stealing your paper when you submit to check it, adding it to some site where they sell papers (maybe this one: mightystudents . com ?) - and then of course it triggers all the other tools! Don't ever ever use this bogus tool, use turnitin if you really need to but stay away from this nightmare not to fail like I did!
