PlanWithTan Sunshine Vacations remote locations, sales people lied about being able to get better locations or sell it back Internet, Maryland
We were called on phone to solicit for vacation program, with incentive of free cruise. Free cruise is not really free and dates are very limited.
Over the course of 7 years, we were able to use one of our 10 weeks because the locations are not places where we would want to go. Even in Ocean City, they told us in sales presentation that they have tons of places there, but unless you book your vacation a year in advance, there are very few locations available and none near the boardwalk or even near the beach.
VIP sales people came to our house to try and sell even more of their package to us. The sales people told us that if you fill out a paper vacation request form, then they can trade for better locations, but when we called, we were told that the form did not exist. Sales person said that they would be able to buy back the weeks, but that is not really so when you talk to them on the phone. No one would tell us who came out for the VIP program sales call.
Bad company! Do not buy any of their plans. Also, they said it was $99 for a week of vacation, but in prime season, which could be half the year or more in many places, it is a lot more.
