Complaint Review: Platinum Adult Business - Northridge Internet

Make sure you read all of this before you pay him one red cent and never give your ssn or ein number to him!

Purchased a Turn-Key site via this company and spoke to Eric ( who does not do this full time ) he has a real job besides this. He was very nice the first time and talked down all other adult sites and stated he knew all the big stars and all the biggies in the industry. I paid him immediately and he was supposed to take care of all the affiliate id setups and give them to me and also have the website up and running in few days. A week went by and nothing so I emailed him - he called me and we spoke this time he stated I screwed up by not getting the affiliates set up ( according to his site he does this ) and pointed the finger at me as if it were my fault. I actually had no problem doing this part myself so I did. Then I called him and he said now I messed up again and he was going to have to start all over. He actually did nothing more than copy his Simple old html code on my adult domain -- it even has the title of his site and not mine and also all the affiliate links are "His" so he gets the payments from the affiliate sites. This has now been 3 weeks, but I am a very easy person to deal with and I understand set backs -- At this point he also offered a Adult Toy Store with SIX sites in one that he stated he owns and runs ( not the case - its a affiliate adult toy store and anyone can sign up ), I did not know this at the time, so I asked via email if we could step back and just start both sites as if I just bought both at that time -- this was during the Memorial Day weekend. He promised the Toy Store was easily setup and will be done in day or two at most.

Well three days past and I emailed him, he called me at my business and was very rude and also again blamed me as being and imbecile and not understanding the business. What he failed to know is I own and run a major hosting company and also own/run over 350 websites. I only went to him because I do not know the adult industry and it IS a very good money maker on the internet if done right. So I went to him. During the phone call he stated he did not have time for me and said if I would give him the 5 affiliates I signed up for and hung up without me being able to reply. 

Again I am an idiot and still tried to follow thru and did email him the affiliate ID and passwords ( dumb move on my part ). It shoud be Noted - he Does Not represent nor is part of any of the adult toy stores he claims to be -- they are al lfound at cvn dot com and anyone can set them up for free.... I also spoke directly with cvn and they are now aware of the misreprestation and will follow suit I am sure. Now to move on,,,,,

He replied to me via email and again was very rude and insulted me terribly. I am old enough to be his father and he flogged me so bad it was disturbing -- as I had done nothing wrong and still wanted him to finish the job.

 It is now the end of June 2012 and today was the last straw -- I emailed him and asked why the sites were still not done on Friday and I finally got a reply and he gave a bad password for a email he supposedly setup -- I checked the Adult Toy Store site and it does not work in .htm but does in .html ( any webmaster can fix that ) and he blamed my servers ( they are up 99.9% and have no issues ) I can accept that error and I could fix it - but will not since he is supposed to according to the sale -- design and implement a Complete Turn Key site and do all the affiliates.

He emailed me and stated that I was an idiot and also two of my employees were idiots because we could not login to the Yahoo email, Thanks to Yahoo we finally got in and it was Eric's fault and not ours. But lo and behold nothing was in the email as he said there would be.

So now that I am there I also email and ask why the links or redirects were not directed to the affiliates that were setup by me but to someone else ( probably himself). He also did not change anything in the original Adult Site design and it still shows the html title for his site sex*pu***.co and all the ID's again point to his account. His explanation was more or less that I should have someone else do it since I was a moron and that three women ( yes he pushed the female issue ) and since I was a guy I am a dumb a*s. He also stated via email that I am not going to or able to get refunded ( surprise Amex is great ). Finally after being berated all day via email and all the while more or less begging for him to finish it in a few days ( as he stated in his sale three days ) and then it will be over and we can part business ways. 

He finally emailed me back and stated he did not have time for me and that he would not even read the rest of my email -- thats where I asked nicely for him to please finish and I also explained his error with the Yahoo email account and also told him of how to fix this .htm page. Again I am very good with coding and ONLY went to him due to the adult industry nature of this. ( funny is he even stated he knew Jenna Jamison - bet she'd like to know that ). Anyway, I also asked for a refund if he did not want to finalize the purchase/design and delivery. Of course he never read that far and also I guess will find out when the cc company notifies him. 

I have kept the sites online so all can see how Bad the work is and also so others can be forewarned as to the way he treats people - I have included the actual emails.

And the worst part is he asks for Social Security numbers or Federal E.I.N. numbers -- Who knows what this guy does with it -- and yes it is one guy -- not a real business -- there are not multiple people who work on projects -- its simply him. A very rude, disrespectful mean spirited individual if you ask to many questions about the site or why he seems to get the link ID instead of you the buyer. I cannot post html code here but the code is old and outdated - he also does not set the affiliate links up properly and he more likely than not gets the payouts instead of you!

And as I post this - -his 24/7 cusotmer support is a lie - he posted back that he and I quote - does not have time for my crap - I never did anything wrong except wanted a working adult based site and he got upset when I started asking questions and knew I was on to him. 


Buyer beware - you can do this all on you own and not spend the hundreds of dollars with this creep to try and take your money and all. Plus credit card companies are easy to show the scam he has going. 


I will carry on and contact every single affiliate he claims to represent and then let them know of the fraud. The average consumer would never know the things he is doing, be safe never give your ssn or ein number to this character.
