I wish I found this site a month ago! Same experience as everyone else. They were sure quick to grab my money. Now the website is down and emails are being returned. At least they won't be ripping any else off until the next site is up and running--isn't that the way these guys operate?

Thankfully, I used my Am Ex card to pay them. One quick call to them and they reversed the charge immediately.

How many little kids saved up their allowances and birthday money to buy themselves a new little friend. Waiting anxiously for it to arrive. Bugging Mom & Dad everyday. Only for it not to arrive.

Pretty reprehensible.

Leslie and any other customers who have had a bad experience with Playful Plush,

I am the previous owner of the company and we closed our doors due to a combination of the economy and major family issues, including a divorce.  During this transition, the primary database was lost and we had no order information to use to either fulfill orders or refund.  I personally sent out an email to the database I had left saying to let me know if you have any questions or problems with any recent orders and took care of everyone who responded.  I feel very bad that anyone has had bad experiences as Playful Plush was my baby for 8 years and customer service was always paramount to us.

That said, it appears that you both have filed credit card disputes and have been refunded.  If you are not fully refunded, please email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to help you to the best of my ability.

As a father myself, I definitely understand the frustration and had I known about you both earlier, I would have handled it promptly to your satisfaction.

Sorry again for this happening and I wish you the best in your future online experiences.
