The owner of Plumbing Rescue, Harold Myers, acted as the company's attorney in the lawsuit that I won against him. This information is public record. He is well aware of the company's scams since he defended the company and lost the lawsuit. He also has never paid me the $5,350 that the court awarded me. The media originally reported that Timothy Wayne Sexton was the owner of Plumbing Rescue that was arrested. The media later changed the reports indicating that Timothy Wayne Sexton worked for the company. Harold Myers testified at my court hearing that they completed their services at a later date than I signed off on the paperwork and illegally placed a lien on my property. The judge was very concerned about them for #1) not filing the legal notification documents prior to placing a lien and #2) they placed a lien on the property outside of the 90 day State lien law. The judge continued the hearing to determine whether i needed to take the issue to a higher court. Before the next hearing the owner removed the lien from my property and did not show up for the 2nd hearing. The judge awarded the amount I requested plus my attorney's fees and court costs. I would like to ask Mr. Myers...if your company is so reputable than why have you not paid me the lawsuit you lost? You place liens and threaten others when YOU don't receive YOUR money but scam everyone else out of what you owe them. I WILL get my money as i am in the process of taking furher legal actions.

If someone is going to write a report and go through the trouble of suing you should get some facts straight. The Media is as bad as magazines these days. No owners have been arrested it was an employee.

I contacted Plumbing Rescue after my efforts to undrain my sink failed. I contacted Plumbing Rescue because they advertised "$79 to unclog drains, anyday, anytime". They couldn't snake the drain and told me that they would have to cut through the pipe under my sink and the cost will now be $1,650. I didn't have the $1,650 at the time of service so they told me that i can use their credit service to pay in 3 payments. After work was finished, I did not receive an invoice or any further written communication regarding the balance owed to the company until i received a letter in the mail from a collections attorney indicating that if i don't respond within 10 days than they will put a lien on my house. I contacted the attorney and told them that they are in violation of collections laws which requires at least an invoice indicating the balance due and a notice to pay prior to being placed into collections. The attorney agreed that they did not follow proper procedures. I told the attorney that i will pay in about 1 week when I get paid.
The following week I was about to mail a check to the attorney when I noticed that the kitchen cabinet under my sink was flooded with water. The base of the cabinet was water damaged and i noticed that he pipe coming down from the drain was too short to secure into the fitting so water has been leaking out of the pipe for over 60 days. I immediately called the collections attorney and notified him that i will be paying the invoice until someone from the company contacts me to discuss replacing my kitchen cabinet or mitigating the amount due to fix the sink and cabinet. The attorney said that he will contact the owner to discuss the situation and get back to me. I sent the attorney photos of the damage and the area where the pipe was too short and leaking the same day i contacted him and received a read receipt via email.
Within 7 days from my call to the attorney, i received a notice that a lein was placed on my house in the amount of $1,300. This violated the lein laws which indicates that a lein must be filed within 90 days from the date the work was complete. They filed the lein in 97 days.
