Yesterday I met John Welch, the chatty teenage boy who showed up to my door selling magazine subscripstions as part of a communications class. He was in the lead for the cancun trip. I didn't even want a magazine, but wanted to help him out. I offered to give him a cash donation, but was told he wouldn't get any points for it. Of course he wants the more expensive mag. subscrip. - I wouldn't have given a $52.00 cash donation.
Anyway, you know the story. I bought PMI's magazine & I got the same lines as everyone else: The cancun trip, asked to use "a corner of a table", the dance partner thing, asked if I kidnap big teenage boys.
Before he left he even mentioned he would be working late as this is a safe area & he could be out after dark without worying about getting robbed. (Glad their enjoying my neighborhood!)
Like everyone else, it didn't feel right. I looked up PMI online as soon as he left. Withing 5 minutes I went outside to find him or anyone of the group in the neighborhood. It is no surprise they were gone.
I filed by complaint with the BBB. As of date 5089 consumers have requested a reliability report on this company in the past 6 months. - Again, no surprise.
