Point 2 Point Auto Transport Credit Card BANDITS in Land o THIEVES? Land o Lakes, Florida
We used their services in september to ship an auto. Gave our credit card number to salesman "J" at other end of their 1-800 number so as to finalize transaction and initiate auto move. $150 was to be deducted from our credit card as a brokers fee (for them to find shipper)and remaining $400+ was to be paid in cash to driver of truck upon arrival with our vehicle. Car arrives, not in 100% condition.....but dealership may be partly or wholly at fault. That we have not sorted out(roof of bmw has a couple of creases)....FUNNY/suspicious thing happens a month later as we are looking at our credit card statement....ANOTHER deduction of $150 appears under the merchant Autotran Autotransport coincidentally(?) out of florida with tele (813)413-1157...don't worry that number is not operable according to a recording. WE GAVE OUR CREDIT TO NO ONE but point2point auto transport. Why praytell is someone else, if NOT THEM as they claim, using our credit card number to siphon funds from our account. Has this happened to anyone before?
