Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Our local tire shop ordered 4 new tires for our RV from Pomp's Tire Service in Savage Minnesota, over a week ago.  The first "guaranteed" delivery date of the tires, came and went...  NO TIRES.  Then, since we were scheduled to leave town on a specific date, Pomp's GUARANTEED that they would express ship the tires to us by Wednesday on the Speedee delivery truck.  The Speedee usually delivers to our shop by noon - so when the tires did not arrive - a phone call to Pomp's again "GUARANTEED" that the tires were on the delivery truck!

Yep - NO TIRES!  Apparently - they did not get shipped even - because a manager took the tires off of the express shipping as it would be "too expensive"...

So - still no tires - however, we are GUARANTEED AGAIN - that they will arrive Thursday morning at 7:30am...  Well, if I had to do it over again - there would not have been this other chance even given to them (but, you know how it is when your husband deals with the automotive place...always a bit too nice!)

Needless to say - THE TIRES STILL DID NOT ARRIVE!  You have got to be kidding me!  For a company to KNOW that they messed up - for an account that orders many tires from them all the time - and to treat them like this.  I would expect more from a company to make the "bad situation" end up right.  Around every corner - they made it worse, and worse.

At least if they would have said they just can't get the tires to us AT ALL, we could have had them days earlier from another supplier.  Now, our vacation will be delayed - as the RV sat in the shop with the tires off - waiting for the new tires to arrive so they could be quickly put on.

We were supposed to leave early Friday morning - but will only get the RV with the new tires back now on Thursday afternoon.  Have you ever packed a motor home?  It takes a bit of time.  It wouldn't be so bad if this trip was just a standard family vacation - but it is a business trip as well - so I HAVE to be in a certain location, by a certain date.  NOT COOL!

I would ask your local mechanic if they use Pomp's and ask for a different service to be used if they do!
