Upon calling to place an order for school pictures for my daughter i was told i was late, the young lady told me there would be a $20 dollar late fee. This i agreed to and went on to place the order. At the end of placing the order she informed me that it would take a extra couple of weeks on my order because they would wait for more late orders so they would'nt be charged a late fee. This is were i were i feel it's wrong because iam paying the late fee.So why should i be punshed more ive already agreed to pay the late fee of $20.Seems to me my order should be placed at time of order just as my c/c has been charged the entire amount including the late fee!!

Clarification of late fee assessment

I would like to respond to the comments made by this customer. I was the one that spoke with her on the phone. After I told her about the late fee (which had been explained in writing to each student), she became very upset, at which time I explained to her why that late fee is imposed. Apparently, she did not understand my explanation. The late fee is because our studio is charged more by the lab that prints them when they are not ordered in bulk. We are NOT charged a late fee BY the lab, as she wrote. They simply just cost more. Everyone who places their order late is charged this fee. Moreover, I never said that her pictures would be ordered in a few weeks. Rather, I stated that I had a few more orders I was waiting to receive from the high school that day and I would place that order together. ALL picture orders take several weeks to be returned to the students, late or otherwise. Ironically, her daughter actually got her pictures at school the same exact day as everyone who ordered before the deadline. Furthermore, this customer was never charged the $20 late fee, due to the fact that her credit card was declined.
