POSH MAKEUP ACADEMY Mrs. D. Renee This owner of this Makeup Academy is very unprofessional. My daughter enrolled in her school and the instructor which is the owner was always late without any explanation of remorse. My daughter confronted her and she got loud with my daughter and called the police on her. My daughter was then forced to sign a contract to quit the class while her mother and brother stood there over my daughter. Not really sure who this Mrs. D. Renee really because she does not disclose her real name anywhere, not even on the internet. She claims she has been a make-up artist for over 20 years but there is no record of it anywhere. Young people please be careful when enrolling in schools like this. Please do your research and make sure that the owner is legit before forking out a lot of money. My daughter basically paid for the entire course and was forced to quit after confronting Mrs. D. Renee about her lateness and disrespect of other people time. Even when you make appointments this lady is always late, so if you have an event, this may not be the place to go for your makeup. I went there and had my eyelashes done and they came off the same day. JUST AWFUL!

Posh Makeup Academy is a School of pride and we take pride in teaching our students the business of makeup artistry. Now when you have a student who is more concerned with hanging out with their friends instead of the agreement made at the beginning of classes here at Posh Makeup Academy, we don't want those type of students anyway. If this is truly her mother, this shows how sometimes some parents are ruled by their children no matter how old they are. Grow up already. There is no room in the makeup artist business for slackers. And if you think that everything will go your way all the time you are absolutely wrong.
At Posh Makeup Academy we have several teachers, I am Ms. D. Renee' the owner and founder and I have over 26years of experience in the makeup artist business and have owned a makeup studio for over 10years. I'm not saying that I am perfect but really, when you go to a college and think that you won't show up for class and because the teacher wants to let out of class early that you wont feel like you wasted your time than you are studpid. We don't take anything from our students, can we say that a teacher will never be sick or have a family emergency, NO, we all have things that happen. But we guarantee that you will learn what you came to learn from us...ask some of our graduates who are out there using the skills that they have learned. They stand proud with the Posh Makeup Academy Name.
