POUNDEX FURNITURE; RICHARD BOYD;NANCY BOYD; RICHARD OLIVER ORDERED furniture, and deposited into wife's account, shipment arrived 2 weeks late, and items missing City Of Industry,Ca Internet
I found POUNDEX furniture on Craigslist. The rep responded quickly, and I thought I was dealing with a reputable company representative. I am a real estate agent, and stager. I do this all the time.
I was dealing with one of your reps named Richard Boyd, or Richard Oliver. The company apparently allows outside reps to conduct business under their name, independently. I had 2 transactions with him. The 1st I paid COD, and was delivered as promised. The 2nd was 2 weeks late, and I was told to deposit cash into his wife's (Nancy Boyd) checking account. Richard promised me 2 zero gravity lounge chairs to make up for the messed up delivery.
The order was finally delivered, but was left at the wrong address. We had to pay another delivery company $60 to pick it up where it was delivered, and redeliver it to us. The order was also incomplete. The lounge chairs were not there, and a desk was also missing. Richard promised me a refund weeks ago, plus the additional delivery fee refund, but has failed to send the refund.
We intend to proceed to recover the loss from him, and Poundex until this has been resolved.
My reviews for this company and for Richard himself will be posted all over the internet, and will gladly be redacted when it is resolved.
Richard owes me $326, which is the amount of the desk, tax and delivery, and the additional delivery fee. The least he could do is send the refund as promised.
I see several other reports for this company as well as other reps this company allows to do business under their name.

Richard Boyd and his wife Nancy live in a very luxurious two story home in Murrieta, CA according to open source online information. She goes by the name "Aracely" and has online clothing store on FB called "Fashion by Aracely" the company is supposedly located at a swap meet in Pomona. I ordered a bedframe from Offerup.com from her, the company address of "Aracely Furniture" listed on her so-called invoice is actually a dirt lot on Baldwin Park Blvd, City of Industry. Her online store has the same phone number of her husband who goes by the name of "Richard Oliver", I ordered a dressser from them for $456.50 back in September of 2022, by December after numerous exscuses I wanted my deposit refunded, after which Richard Boyd stopped taking my phone calls, ignores my texts and has not responded to the Zelle app he uses to take money. I can see now how he has a luxurious house, if he is scamming several dozen people for small amounts. I'm not done with this guy yet.
