Power Honda Costa Mesa I put $2000 cash down plus my trade in for a 2006 Honda Accord and one week later they want $1000 or return the vehicle!! Costa Mesa California
ok...I bought a certified used Honda Accord last week (it was a few years old) at Power Honda Costa Mesa..I put enough money down on this Honda Accord and they agreed to pay off my trade in..so everything was fine for a few days and then i get a phone call saying that I needed more money down or I would have to "return the car" and get my trade in and my down payment back....All of the paperwork was signed right there at the dealership and my previous auto finance company (on my trade in) was 48 payments that were all made on time with 12 payments to go to have it payed off....on top of that, my husband co-signed on the Honda...so they call and asked for $1000 more (after all the paperwork was signed and one week had passed) I am very upset at this dealership for putting me through all of this and I missed one day of work just so I could handle the process of returning the car to them..Sure I will get my money and old car back but what about some compensation for the hassle of removing everything from the new car, missing work , and calling up my auto insurance company to add my old car back on my policy? They wasted my time..don't let them waste yours! Another warning: If they do happen to do this to you like they did to me then you WILL receive your down payment as a CHECK even if you put cash down on the car...this is another three day process just to get your money back!!
