Power Places Tours threatened to sue someone called Jeanette Maw for $1.5 million and then actually did sue her because she wrote three blog posts about how she was ripped off for $6,000 of deposit money in what Judge Daniel Winograd later termed deceptive contract, before ordering a refund (see attached evidence).
Instead, Power Places Tours, operated by Theresa Weiss, this person:-
walshed on the judgment and then threatened her further when she would not take the posts away.
It was a SLAPP suit designed to shut up a harmed customer and the evidence in the screenshots is indisputable.
She was presumably bullied into settling, but the evidence of the case and Power Places Tours misdeeds is now in the public domain for all to see. It shows that in the day and age of Rip Off Report, companies thinking they can get away with ripping people off, later find they cannot, as their bad behaviour is exposed for everyone to see.
There is also evidence that they did it to others as well, losses ranging from several thousand all the way up to $60,000 or more.
The Weiss's live offshore in St Croix and rip many people off, hiding offshore in St Croix from losing judgements, as another person once stated:-
PPT - the worst of the worst. I worked with them professionally and they ripped us off. I took them to court and won!! But they were located outside the LISA (Carbbean) We never got the judgment money from them and they continue to do business. Theresa, of PPT is like the walking DEAD. She is as bad as darkness gets. We are out $60,000 as I represented a very prominent speaker (Caroline Myss) Caroline preformed in Greece for PPT and RPT never paid her fee unless she would sign up for another rip off tour. I have contacted Gregg Braydon personally and what ever he does is his prerogative. If you have been ripped off from PPT - STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!!!!

In the case of Jeanette Maw, they did not learn their lesson and went on to try it on with a Spiritual Master, who then taught them lessons in karma and poetic justice, slapping them back, with a $1.5 million damages bill.

They tried making Free Spirit lie to Rip Off Report, but that did not work.
Power Places Tours have closed their website for now, but are operating under the name of Andean Secrets of Sustainable Living. Caution is advised.
