In September of 2003, I pulled a power wheels product out of our storage for my grandson. It would run but very slow, so we began looking for the charger and could not find it! At this point I thought we could purchase one online.

Immediately their website flashed a recall on our product instructing us to take it in and it would be updated due to potential fires and explosions of the batteries. We drove an hour and a half to the center and we were informed that it would cost us $86.00 since we would need new batteries because the new connectors would not fit the old ones. I asked if there was not a recall on the batteries and he said that he would change out those connectors also.

When I picked up my power wheels, he informed me that my batteries were bad and that I would still need to buy new ones! I called power wheels and they were rude and informed me that it was my problem and that they don't replace old batteries, although the recall included the batteries! I was told that I could throw the product away if I was not happy with it!!!
