Precision Tire -Manger James Sold me a bad tire Crockett Texas
Recently my wife was traveling from Houston,Texas back to our home in Durant, Ok.after visiting her mother. While buying gas in Crockett, Texas she noticed she had a low tire. Lucky for her there was a tire shop across the street from her. She went there and asked the guy in the office to check it out. He pulled her car in (2011 black ford fusion) and after looking it over he tells her she needs a new tire. After she calls me and informs me what is going on, I asked to speak to him and he informs me that the tire is ruined and replacing it is the only thing that he can do, and In forms me the new tire would cost $200 stunned at the price and i asked him if that was all he had. i was then told by this guy who I later found out to be the owners son James, in a very very cocky tone that was it or nothing take it or leave it he could care less. At this point it was getting late so my wife had no choice .. She got tire changed and I had her to bring the old tire with her as it was still under warranty. She starts out for home. she makes nearly home when the car starts making a horrible noise and wobbly all over the road. Scaring my wife to half to death she pulls over on the side of the road. to find out that the title rim has nearly came off. after a tow truck is called out to tow her To a shop. once at the shop it turns out the lug nuts weren't tighT causing damage to the hub. while getting the hub fixed they asked my wife if she wanted to put the old tire back on she told him it wasnt any good the shop guy looks it over and tells her that it had a small nail in it and he could patch it and would perfectly fine.
the next day I called James at prescision tire. i then inform him of what happen with the rim and also asked why he had her buy a new tire when she didn't need to. I asked him what he was going to do about it and he said nothing wasn't his fault. I told him it was and that my wife could have been killed and he said sorry to hear that but it wasn't his fault that the lugs came loose and he didn't owe me a thing. At which point he hung up the phone on me. I called him back at which point I told him I would be filing legal action against him at which time he smartly said go ahead you want be the firist one, who tried to sue me and lost!!!! we work for the county anyway. So go right head and sue you want win and then hung up!!!! I am currently talking to a lawyer about this... So if you ever go there crockett Texas and have a flat please do not go to precision tire!!!!!!!
