I had set up a scheduled meeting with this company for them to view the scope of the work I needed done. They did not show up for the meeting. I called them afterwards and asked if they forgot the meeting. They said the were sorry that they wrote the information down on a piece of paper somewhere and didn't know where they put it. They said that they could meet in 10 minutes if I still wanted them to look at the work I needed done. They then proceeded to tell me that if I was mad at them and didn't want to do business with them at all, then that would be fine too. I was just amazed at the disorganization along with the indifference to the effects that their disorganization causes to a potential client. Non-professional attitude is the overall feeling I got from this company in the brief, few communications that I had with this company. In hindsight, I am glad that they did not show and saved me from potential negative interactions would they have started any work for me. Just an observation from a potential well paying client.

I have worked for Don about 3 years now. I have found him very generous and easy to work for. If you do a good job for him he definately makes it worth your while.

Well you could quit. You don't want to get into criminal trouble from a fight if you just can't stand the guy. More practical, if you have everything in writing, file a mechanic's lien on the property you've been working on. The owner of the property will get mad at Don then, and SOMEONE will pay you pretty quick.
