" Pretty " Haute Couture - Paula - Owner Bad Business, Not honest, Bad Karma Sherman Oaks California
I have purchased at this place few outfits. over $ 1200.00. I requested to make me a shall , to match , one of the dress,. It was $ 75.00 + tax extra.Payment was done in full, on the day of the order. On pick up day it was not done. On the day of the event, Saturday, I went to pick up dress , not to happy,and had no chance even to check it there, if everything is OK, because I was worry to get late, for event. After arriving at home, I have notice, the shall does not mach the dress. I called her up, she said it is no problem, she will gave me full refund -$75 + tax . When I returned to the store, I was sorry for her, and offered her to do some work for me ( even I know how to sew and have sewing machin ) told her I have 1 pants to hem and 2 pents just cut from the leight. After I went pick this up, she charged me $ 40.00. I felt it is too much, but I have not told her that, just said the rest of the $ I want to have back. She said no... In the store at that time , I have not seen policy about return... be sides, It was not my mistake, even she said so...
She said no. ...I think she needed $$ so bad, even $ 40.00 ment a lot to her. It mean a lot to me too., after being diagnost w/cancer,had surgery , then again surgery. But as soon as I have my health back, I will go and file a claim. It is bother me, I wanted to help her, because in her store was no business. She admit it was her mistake, she over charge me, and not willing to gave me my $$ back. It Is not just about the money. It is about the honesty, what this person does not have.
Yes, Do not do business with PAULA from " Pretty" - you will look and feel PRETTY stupid, after having business with her. Pretty out of your $$....

The $ 40.00 will not make you rich - but loose you honesty/respect for
$ 40.00 it is SAD, very SAD and it is bad KARMA also.
