Prevention Magazine - North Shore Agency Canada Unethical Billing Practices by Prevention Magazine - Negative Billing is Illegal Mississauga Ontario
Sometime in 2003 I sent in a card offering a free introduction to Prevention Magazine for my wife who had expressed interest.
Imagine my surprise to receive a collection letters for 26.94. I e-mailed Prevention Magazine castigating them and their practices,
I just recieved a second collection letter(April, 2004)with this jewel;
"As a collection manager of this agency, and as a consumer myself, I not only undertand credit - I value it. But you are not living up to the credit extended to you by our client, Prevention Magazine." and ;"In good faith my client accepted your order and shipped valuable Magazines to you. The time has come to settle this debt by writing your cheque."
Unfortunately this was unsigned !!!
Prevention Magazine and North Shore Agency Canada are utilizing one of the oldest scams going - just another sleazy business that should be run out of town.
