Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I ordered a Go-Go Elite Traveller from pridemobility last July 2014. I have not used it yet. We just took it out of the box on Saturday, Feb 7th 2015. My Son-In-Law assembled it. It didn't come with any instructions. The Go-Go didn't come with a key and it should have. I called to tell them there isn't a key and I was told by Paul @ ext1 that a Replacement key will cost me $26, and it should have been the the back pocket of the seat but it wasn't. When I get on their website and look at the keys, they are $5.35.

And since I haven't used it yet, they tell me the battery isn't good anymore and I will have to buy a new one for $40 but I need 2 batteries so $80. He told me the battery must be charged every month for the battery to stay good. I have never heard of such a thing. How are they going to send a Scooter with no key? It's useless without a key. And to not tell people when they are ordering it that the battery must be charged monthly. When I ordered this $900 scooter, Mike didn't tell me any of that.

The seat on it swivels, it doesn't lock into place. How are people supposed to use this when the seat doesn't stay in place? Now they say I have to buy a part for the seat also. I am fully disabled with COPD and Emphysema. I explained this to Mike when I ordered it July. I have 29% lung capacity and I'm on oxygen. He said I wouldn't have any problems dissembling it and lifting it into my trunk. My Daugher is 31 years old and it is not easy to disassemble or lift for her, there's no way I can do it.

Seems like the company is taking advantage of the Elderly. I had to save for over a year to afford this scooter and now it's useless to me without a key and not being able to disassemble it. They will not take this useless scooter back. When I talked to Paul today, he tried to sell me another one saying this new $799 one would be better for me. I've called the Manufacture and they said everything has to go through the dealer. The dealer says it has to go through the manufacture. I'm just getting the run around and nothing is being solved.

Buyer Beware, Don't get your scooter from this Company.
