Typical response from a brown-noser for the insurance industry! Nice to know you think the customers who pay Progressive's salaries are all liars. In any event, your response is not very timely. I have found another carrier who does indeed give retired folks who are no longer commuting to work a break. I saved over $100 in doing so. According to the Nevada Division of Insurance, my rate was increased because Progressive lost money in Nevada. Well now, I'm happy to say they've lost even more now by losing me as a customer.

First of all Progressive does not use mileage in any state besides california....why you ask...because everyone would lie and no insurance company has the manpower to regulate mileage. Second of all for some reason customers have a warped view of business when it comes to insurance.
Did you complain to your grocery store when milk prices went up and you did not do anything to the milk producers.
THATS HOW A BUSINESS WORKS!!!!!!
Your policy is built around other factors besides you!!!!! If you were to be involved in an accident and you were hit by an unisured motorist and Progressive were to pay 5000 to you in injury I would assume you would not want your rates to increase. Now multiply that by a couple million people for which Progressive insures. So lets do the math.....Progressive payed out a couple million dollars, didn't raise your rate, can't get money from the person that hit you because they don't have insurance. So..............they just eat the money.
