Progressive Van Lines AY Transport ripoff, misrepresentation San Jose California
I am a poor student and was making the move from Minnesota to New York for a job. I decided to use AY Transport/ Progressive Van Lines to do the move because they had the lowest quote and seemed professional. To give them some credit, they arrived on time, were very professional moving my belongings and were very helpful and charged me what they quoted me (so far).
They quoted me 3-7 days to move and was suppose to arrive on August 12th (one week after pick-up. It is now the 23rd and I am still waiting for my furniture. They continue to give me the run around and can give me no specific reason as to why my furniture is taking so long. I have spoken to Rosemary, Theresa, and Amy in the customer service department and none have been helpful.
I mentioned a lawyer and they were quick to tell me they do not give out the lawyer's name but if I give my information, the lawyer will contact me. As of now, I am very frustrated and very scared after reading the other emails from others who have been ripped off by this company. I am hoping a class-action suit can be done so this company does not rip anyone else off. I will update this website when my furniture arrives and I am praying it will not be too long and my furniture will arrive undamaged. Thanks for listening.
