Promotional Discount Offers They tell you they will give you a credit card for $2,500.00 when you pay them $299.00, this a fraud. You do not get a credit card. Champlain New York
I received a call from Promotional Discount Offers stating that I was approved for a $2,500.00 credit card. The man explained that all I had to do was pay a $300.00 processing fee to get the card and that I should have the card in 10-14 business days. Needless to say I never received any type of card. It was credit card offers.
I had called this company back several times after I read other complaints about this company. I asked them if what I had read was true. They assured me that it was not true and that the only reason people filed these complaints is because they lied about filing for bankrupcy or something else when the card was offered to them. The assured me once again that I would be getting a credit card.
Still being suspecious, I called once again to verify that I was getting a credit card and not credit offers. This time I had my husband listen on the other line as a witness. Once again, they told me that I would be receiving a credit card. Now, at least if it was a scam I would have my husband as a witness.
I waited over six weeks and I still didn't get anything in the mail, when I called once again for the 3rd time, they assured me that it would be in the mail, and as it turns out, as I suspected, it was only credit offers. First I got a blue box that explained my benefits and then a couple days later I got a manilla envelope with credit card offers.
By this time I was very upset so I contacted my lawyer and told Promotional Discount Offers that if I wasn't refunded that I would be contacting the attorney general and my lawyer was going to be involved. I am happy to say that I am getting my money back. But, just a little advice for anyone who gets a call from them - steer clear and hang up. Trust me, it is not worth the aggravation.
