Complaint Review: Property Management Inc - South Jordan Utah

I found a home on KSL and the company was PMI I contacted them and Rich was going to show the home to me. First thing he said to me was "wow, you are easy on the eyes" really hitting on me. We went in and looking around I found dog poop in the living room by the heat vent and it looked like it was stuck to the carpet and there was some just sitting there. I mentioned it to him, he said "I am not sure what it is but it isn't dog poop. Well, it was. Walking through the house it was way dirty. I mentioned this to him and he said, "yeah I do a guy look through it looked clean to me. "  I told him it had a weird smell to it too. it smelt like a hamster cage. He said he couldnt smell it but my girls could smell it too. 

Walking through the home we liked it but there were multilple blinds missing as wel. The back sliding door had about 8 missing and the back door was facing a major road in the subdivision. I told him if he could clean the carpets thenn we would take it. He said he would. I gave him the deposit and then waited for the carpets to get cleaned. We came back after and it smelt like dog urine so bad and even his brother was saying how bad it smelt. I told him this is horrible but he told me I gave him the deposit already and I cant get it back so I felt trapped and we moved in. Asking for more blinds he told me the owner of the home didnt want to give me any nore did PMI ok, it is me and my girls so now we have to deal with peeping toms or people being able to see us. This was bad. My boss gave me blinds so we were not exposed to the world. I felt like this was already a horrible way to run a company.

Moving in putting boxes downstairs I noticed poop on the concrete, really dog poop all over the floor. Wow, I had a friend look at the HVAC as the smell was coming from the vents and it was horrible. He told me the smell was from breeding dogs downstairs. You could see the poop that was kind of cleaned up but I have pictures of the poop on the concrete. He told me the only way to get rid of the smell was to scrub the concrete with bleach. I told Rich this and he came with a little mop and tried cleaning. Really a mop you need a broom with bristle to clean this crap. There was still dog poop and the smell never went away. While looking into the furnace we found deoderizers to take the smell away because it did stink so bad. 

I had to clean the house for 2 days before I moved in and while cleaning I found dog poop on the base boards in numerous places. This is not good. I had to clean so much and put down deoderizers on the carpet to cover the smell had to buy lots of wall flowers to make it smell good enough to move in. I am one to entertain people and I was so embarresed of this house and the smell I never had people over. I always did birthday parties at my moms or somewhere else because it stunk. My daughter never had her friends over either. 

The neighbors told me they breed dogs there and that there were 5 dogs there until they sold their puppies. I took a black light to the carpet and it was so gross. Even dog pee going up the wall so the male peed on the walls. the landing had the most, I had to buy a rug to put down to cover the smell, I had card board boxes down the hall. My closet smelt like they peep over and over. I could not let my clothes even be on the floor or they would stink. 

When I moved out I cleaned that house, cleaned the carpets for him with a pet deoderizer with my rainbow vacuuum to be nice so it would not smell. I had a friend come with me because I didnt trust Rich he went through the house and said it looked great, signed off on the inspection sheet. had me sign it then when I tried to get my deposit they took out money for claening the house and carpet cleaning. After he signed off my inspection sheet in front of my friends and my girls. He said they needed to clean the house (OMG) really I had to clean for 2 days and clean poop off the walls but you are charging me for having to clean $100 and then charging me for the carpets to be cleaned. He told me that they clean the carpets in all their homes but wait, I had to beg him to clean the carpets before I moved in so why would he lie about this. He is just a jerk and dis honest. I now have been sent to collections for the balance. Really wow, he has balls to do this. I dont think we should be running a company, He sure makes this company look bad. First constantly hitting on me and saying I am easy on the eyes and my girls thought that was gross and very in appropriate. Hope his wife reads this. Then I have to clean the house for 2 days but dont get anything taken off my rent then dont get blinds to keep people from seeing me and my girls horrible manegement and then I had to live in dog urine. Horrible. If I wanted to workout on the living room floor I would have to put down 3 blankets just to lay on the floor. I could still smell the urine but It wasn't as bad. Who should live in a house that is this bad. It should of been condemed. Oh, and when I moved my couch to put my christmas tree up, I found the dog poop in the carpet, I told Rich about this and he said, well, we saved that for you... WTF really. WOW. I cant believe he manages this company. Property Management Inc should be closed and not allowed to rent homes. They lied to the new tenants as well I am sure but hey, that is what Rich Underwood does, LIES all the time. Well, I hope he understands that it is not fair to make someone clean a house for 2 days then charge after they leave to clean even after the inspection sheet was signed off. horrible.
