Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received a letter in a plain white envelope. There was no return address, no postage markings and no evidence that it had even been sent through the mail. There was one stamp on it baring a flower and and Canada. Nothing else.

I opened the letter and to my surprise, I see a check in the amount of $5889.00. I was told that I had been declared a winner in the Martha Stewart Living Magazine sweepstakes. Third place winner to be exact.

I was told that I had one the prize of one million dollars. All I had to do was contact a Charles Henwood at 1-888-813-5672 ext 1 BEFORE I deposited this check into my account. He told me that the check was to cover any "outstanding fees that have not been paid by PCH directly."

I was given a security code and instructed NOT to mention my winnings to anyone. It was to be kept highly confidential for safety and security reasons. He even told me that he was an attorney for PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE and that he had done this for the last ten years. During that time that he has seen kidnappings take place in family's because of the winnings. He stated that if anyone knew the kind of money I had won, someone might want to use that against me. He instructed me to deposit the check immediately and told me he would call the next day.

I have not received that phone call and I don't anticipate one either. I was also given the name of my IRS representative: Harvey Armstrong. I was told that he was "handling my file" and that I needed to contact him at 514-699-2389. The check was drawn from FITCHBURG SAVINGS BANK located in Harvard MA. My sponsor on the check is a Mark Rosenbush DMD. After doing some research online, I have discovered that Mark ROSEBUSH is a phony.

I am so saddened that this has turned out to be waste of time and effort. It is extremely disheartening and upsetting. Especially to those that are in extreme financial need right now and going through so much. Mr Henwood even had the nerve to ask what I was going to use the money for. I had hopes of buying my mother a new house and helping her since she is no longer able to work.

How can they get away with such deceit? Publishers Clearing House has been around for YEARS. How can anyone ever trust that they have truly won a PCH sweepstakes now that we know someone is using their name illegally?

Saddened and Heartbroken,

Jessica
