Publishers Sweepstakes Center Cheating and Manipulative! You Won a SCAM! Arvada Colorado
I received a phone call I won a $100 gift card for walmart and would also be receiving magazines they have picked for me and I could change at any time. The man spoke broken english and was very hard to understand and said he was transferring me to his supervisor.
The supervisor came on and said about verifying my information and needed credit card for one of the magazines. Then I find out after I get the letter it says $39.70 for 26 months! That is $1032.20! I got a voucher, never used because they told me it was a gift card.
I called right to cancel and they said we can't because we already paid the magazine companies. I have been trying to find a way to fix this. I am recieving about 10 magazines a week that are not being read and are a waste to the environement. I am diabled and don't have the extra cash.
Yes I am stupid for giving my credit card out but I was very sick at the time and when you here you won something, you think you won it! Also you cannot understand the broken english and the way they are directing words. Paying for one magizine, I never heard of a magazine costing a thousand dollars. I want to stop paying but I have perfect credit!
