Purrfect Auto is far from perfect! Carmichael California
I took my car in for an oil change on 12/10/99. I was told at that time I needed a new CV boot. I looked at it and it looked like it had been cut but I agreed to the repair. It took 3 men to get my tire off and they banged it repeatedly with a sledge hammer.
About two weeks after that I began to hear strange noises from that wheel. I took it back and told them they had done something when they fixed my tire. They put the car up on the rack and told me I needed a new rack and pinion steering. They told me that if I tried to drive my car away, it would probably fall apart in a block. I have 56000 mi on my car but did not know that wasn't true.
I agreed to the repair. $920 later the car still makes the same noise and I totally feel that the repair they did was not necessary. I am an older female who does not know about cars and could not afford to put this money out!
