Pyramid Renovations and Landscaping Mathew Balistreri Fraud and Poor Workmanship Brick, New Jersey
I am writing this report to detail my experience with Mathew Balistreri of Brick New Jersey and owner of Pyramid Renovation and Landscape Design. I hired Matt to install a roof for me. This was a two layer tear-off. I signed a contract with him in which he specified he would remove the complete old roof and charge me $8000 for the complete job. After giving me a starting date Matt cancelled three different times.
After finally arriving to start, the roofing crew did not remove the old roof as promised but installed on top of the old one. I was at work and a neighbor advised me of this. When I confronted Matt about this he assured me the old roof was removed....and it was not. When my wife arrived home that day she spoke briefly with the roofing crew and they told her this was there first job with Matt and that they did not know him. They also volunteered to do other handyman work around my house if I needed it.
The crew was all Spanish and very nice....however, I was promised an experienced crew, and these were day laborers that were picked up on the corner. I had to hire an inspector to prove that Matt did not remove my old roof like he promised. And shortly later the roof leaked.
Everything Matt Balistreri promised was a lie. I did not have qualified experience people working on the roof and the roof leaked. Matt lied to me about removing the old roof and I am taking him to court now. I did have doubts about hiring a landscaper to do my roof but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, which was my mistake. This man is a complete fraud and a liar. Avoid him at all costs.
I wrote this for the benefit of other homeowners that shouldn't have to go through this experience.

If you were the alleged victim, Reveal yourself so that we can take the proper measures to refund your money for all the issues you stated...
You mentioned taking Pyramid to court? Why am i not aware of this case? Docket #'s are public info, please post the alleged docket number to this case?
Why was my office not notified of these claims by you? ever! You mentioned hiring an inspector to prove there was 2 roofs on the house? Where is the report? The bill? When was the job completed? DATES??
We only opened a Landscaping Division this spring I have no contracts for that amount, from then till now.....
BECAUSE YOU'RE A FRAUD!
Please post to the public and this ridiculous website that would allow this, ALL THE PICTURES and WRITTEN CONTRACTS between us. The only thing factual about your FICTICIOUS REPORT is that what your saying IS IN FACT LIBELOUS! And when i find out who you are, you will be prosecuted... that is my personal guarantee.

This report is complete fabrication, and lies...and is presently being investigated by Arbitration, and by my attorney, for Defamation of character, and slander. Once this individual is revealed, My attorney and I will be filing suit in Civil Court.
I welcome ANY evidence from this poster, to be provided here including CONTRACT, FULL NAME & ADDRESS OF JOB, there is a PHOTO option on these reports, WHERE IS THE PHOTOS?? ETC....But there wont be because THIS IS A FALSE REPORT!
Its a shame that after 25yrs in business with an impeccable reputation, that an cowardly individual can be allowed to post such lies, and attempt to tarnish a good company's reputation, without a shred of evidence, and then hide behind a fictitious name....its laughable!
