In early September 2003, QC Unlimited sales approached our office with a marketing proposition. They offered to create refrigerator magnets with solely our name, contact info and logo. These magnets were to be distributed locally as placed on top of pizza boxes at various local pizza parlors.

QC Unlimited required full pre-payment of $299.50, which we paid on September 16, 2004 using our check number 1965.

Our follow-up contact attempts were all generally ignored.

Finally, in December 2004, Jennifer Sales of QC Unlimited told us that the original magnets they had created were flawed and had been destroyed. She said there was a new magnet created and sent this to us for our approval.

The magnet we received bore no resemblence to what we had been led to expect. Our advertisement had incorrect information,was listed amid a mass of other advertisers and was on a very poorly manufactured product of a totally unexpected design.

We promptly advised Jennifer that this product was completely unsatisfactory and that we had already asked for a FULL refund beginning in October 2003.

We complained to the Better Business Bureau, only to learn that there were a great many other complaints similar to ours.

To date, we have never received our requested refund.

Misunderstanding not Misleading

Your company recieved its product. The product you received was the product you had ordered. You comapny was never told you would be the only company on the guide, but you were told you would be the only one in your line of work to appear on the guide. This is a misunderstanding on your part. We did not mislead you in any way shape or form. You will not receive a refund because you got what you had ordered. We did fulfill our obligation so there is no reason for a refund. And if the dates you are claiming are correct then you paid for your advertisment a year after it was purchased. Which is not true. The dates you have listed are incorrect and are intentionaly set forth to imply that we did something wrong. You are the person who is misleading not us.
