Quality Subscriptions, Inc. Teens seek donations for sports team and children's hosptial Buford Georgia
Two friendly, adorable teenaged boys came to our door in our rural neighborhood asking for donations for their baseball team to go to a playoff series. They said a portion of the proceeds would go to MD Anderson children's hospital. They asked for two checks, so they would each get points. They said they lived in a nearby neighborhood and that one of the teen's dad had a window washing service.
They said that in return for our donation they would come and wash our windows. When we said that our windows had just been washed, they agreed to another outdoor chore for us and scheduled it for Sat. at 2:00.
One of the teens got our phone numbers so he could call to confirm the time on Sat. I asked for his number in case he didn't come. After they left, I got a bad feeling about this, so I called the phone number and it was not a working number.
That is when I cancelled the payment on the checks. We also called the Sheriff's Dept. and filed a report. Our neighbors were notified. As the lady in California said, the kids are so charming, you just can't believe it could be a scam. We think it is horrible that this scamming company is misusing the talents of these teens.
