Just got off the phone with the rip-off company, Questsavers...I feel like an idiot. They have been charging my credit card since January 2001, $8.95 per month!

I asked them how they obtained my credit card number and they said they called and spoke to my husband and he agreed to their terms, when I asked them what was their verification information, they told me that my husband had provided the name of his birth city, and the city they named was completely wrong and in the wrong time zone! Then, they had the nerve to tell me that it was MY responsibility to let them know, and acted like someone else had used his credit card number and all they were liable for was to credit me $17.90 (2 months).

So, they can just use your credit card number and set up an account, use bogus info and get away with it, I don't think that's how it works??? Anyway, if you see Questsavers on your bill, BEWARE! What a ripoff. They haven't heard the last of me, and AM EX is initiating a major investigation and now will be notifying all their customers!

To Whom It May Concern: Yes, if you do not pay an insurance premium then the policy lapses. But, if it's billing on a Fingerhut acct then any charges we make is subject to late fees.(IF YOU DON'T PAY YOUR BILL DUHHHH).You did said the policy was cancelled, but up to the time before canceling you owe Fingerhut. So, yes if you don't pay a bill, the company will put on late fees, that how all credit cards acct works!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am employed through Americall. they sell Stonebridge Services Like: Plan Plus, Leisure Plus, Health Extras, Graded benifit Life Insurance, Health Extras, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Etc. We are told in so many words to LIE about What company we are calling on behalf of. What ever credit card the potential customer has.... we are given Scripts that state... " My name is_____ and I'm calling on behalf of your ____ credit card. I have talked to people that i have tried to make sales to and some of them told me the were being billed for StoneBridge Services and have not even recieved anything in the mail. Now this could be because.... when the TSR tells the customer " Now Mr/Ms. _____ for quality purposes, the remainder of this conversation will be recorded. And after that promt... the Tape is turned on and the TSR is suppose to read a disclosure verbatum!!! if anything is not read right on tape the sale is not suppose to go through. The TSR lose the sale, but they still charge the customers account. See... A TSR is to make more than 4 sale a day in order to have maintain a high % to goal. If you fall under %80 you go on alert. if you get more than 3 alerts then you are out the door. Another thing I find to be crazy is that the market Leisure Plus to people over 60. There are alot of lies told to the customer to get them to enroll. Keep in mind... its not what you say... Its How you say it. Another thing I find to be very annopying is that fact that I will talk to the same customer 4 to 6 times in one work shift. if a customer is not interested in what we are offering. they will be cycled back through the calling list if they do not state clearly..."put me on your Do Not Call List." Even that takes up to 30 days to tkae effect. I've heard all kinds of lies being told to cardholders and it is excepted as long as the parent company AEGON is not monitoring the call.

For all of you out there, please note the following. Questsavers, Plan Plus, Back porch and Experts- on-call are all part of the same company. So any of the 1-800-527 numbers given on the credit card or bank statements will get you in the right direction for all of them. Especially anything that says Plano TX after it. I know this because up until a month ago I worked there. You are right. It is a scam and the products are worthless. By the way I did not get fired, i quit. This is to make you understand I am not out for revenge. I had callers that had each one of them on their statements, all from the same start up date and sometimes had the same membership ( thats what they are called ) being billed twice from different "buisness partners." ( that part is a long story to explain ) Anyway, I became tired of it. Also, to let you know, No one there on the floor taking calls likes it. They have to do their job to make ends meet. Please remember to be kind to the ones answering the phone, they do what they have to. Deep down inside, they know you are right, they just have no choice due to being constantly monitored by supervisors and buisness partners. I know that because I was there. Hope all works well for everyone.
