quibids llc Ripoff it costs 60 cents per bid to auction you will never win Internet
I just signed up a few days ago at Quibids.com. After I finished signing up. They wanted to charge my credit card which was fine. The problem I had is that there was no final step to confirm my payment. Once I entered my CC info and pressed enter it immediately charged my card. That was kinda misleading because most pay sites will bring you to a final page and show you the charges that your card will incur when you press ok. My biggest Complaint on the site is that it costs 60 cents per bid. So this is a warning to you all I would not use this site. It's a scam i noticed when I was auctioning for an item that their would be 3 users of the same name on that page bidding. IMO i truly believe they use autobots to increase the bids. Also I have been on the site for a few days and they claimed certain items like a brand new I-Pad sold for $1.38 another I-Pad I saw sold for $6.35 . That in itself would never happen there. This site is a complete scam and an absolute ripoff. Do not waste your money. You have been warned.

Upon the checkout page (where your put in your cc information), it lists (3) times the total that will be charged.
We are a legitimate auction site, not affiliated with gambling. With gambling, there has to be an element of randomness. On our site, all our auctions are customer-driven, which eliminates any chance of randomness. In addition to this, we have a Buy it Now feature implemented on every single auction on our site. As mentioned, worst case scenario should be a consumer leaving our site with a product at retail.

Because it does not fit into the business model.
If they actually had a page to confirm payment..it could give prospective members a clue that this is a GAMBLING website and NOT a legitimate auction. And if prospective members were made fully aware that this is a GAMBLING website, and NOT a legitimate auction before they agreed to submit account information, most would decline. This can't be very good for business... Think about it.

But it is true that your Web site does not give the new registrant an opportunity to confirm the initial $60 payment, which in my case, I was not aware I would be charged for before even checking the Web site out. Any company I have purchased from (and I am an avid internet shopper and bidder on eBay) gives you the opportunity to cancel the transaction and at the very least, confirm it. I've never had a payment go through upon completing a registration. Some notification should be given. I feel this borders on being a scam. If you change this, then I might feel differently.

It sounds as if you may not understand our business model. I'll explain - It's free to sign up for QuiBids, but anytime someone purchases a bid package, yes, he/she will be charged the respective amount. Our business works on a 'pay-to-participate' model where each bid costs $0.60. We try to be as transparent as possible for consumers and explain everything on our site in our Terms & Conditions, in addition to our QuiBids101 section. We plainly state that each bid is $0.60. If you do not use those bids and would like a refund, no problem. Worst case scenario, one is to come away from our site paying retail for the item he/she bid on.
Products on our site go for the amounts shown every time. We do not employ or have shills/bots of any kind as it is against our company policy. We are not a scam and have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau as of September of last year. We work hard to continue to launch new features and offerings to better the experience for our customers.
