R And L Model Management Barry Gudin Steals Models Hard Earned Money and Runs New York New York
I have also been a victim of the R and L Model Management Ripoff.
I am a commerical model in New York City who has worked with R and L for many years. I did a national advertising campaign for which I have never been paid. I tried speaking with Mike Lyons of R and L and he continually lied to me stating that R and L was not paid for the Job by the client, and thus he could not pay me. This went on for several months, R and L employees continually blamed the bad economy for clients not paying them and then they were not able to pay the models.
One day I went by the office to demand my money to find their offices closed. I contacted the client I worked for and was told that R and L was paid for my work within two weeks of me doing the job and had cashed the check. Barry Gudin is the owner along with Mike Lyons. Mike Lyons is now working with Silver Models in New York City, so be careful in dealing with him.
