R Bobola Roofing, Bobola Roofing and Siding 4 months... and STILL NO ROOF! Exeter, New Hampshire
We hired Bobola Roofing in April to put a new roof on our house. It is now August - he's walked off the job and left our house open to the elements but for a thin sheet of tarpaper. We have hired a new contractor, and he has to remove the entire section of roofing that he DID do because it was so poorly done.
To add insult to injury, Bobola tried to file a police report and get me arrested because "she didn't pay me the money she owes me"... we gave him 1/3 (plus an extra grand) up front to get started in April, listened to excuse after excuse why the roof wasn't going to be started this week... ad nauseum. They finally started in June, and had "Rap Boy" and "CrackHead" doing the job. We called and wanted to know why these two inexperienced kids were on our 3 story roof with no tethers! No good answer. Asked to see his certificate of insurance... never saw it. He walked off the job on August 1 with less than half the roof done - because we wouldn't give him any more money until the job was half finished, as per our contract.
After checking him out online, we found complaint after complaint, discovered he declared bankruptcy in February of last year (2011). He's been arrested for physically assaulting another customer who wouldn't pay for his shoddy work - and really, he's still in business. Call me crazy - but I think we should've hired someone else ;)
Oh, and he tried giving me a song and dance about why he needed money to finish our roof even tho he wasn't holding up his end of the contract: "my Harley payment is 4 months overdue and I have to keep the garage shut so they don't take it. it's an $18,000 bike and last week i tried to sell it for 10K and couldn't get no takers. My wife's been outta work for the last year and she's going on social security disablility but we ain't got any of the money yet. I ain't made my mortgage payment for july yet. I ain't paid my guys for the last two weeks ..." and on and on and on. Can you see why perhaps i thought giving him MORE of MY money was not a good idea? Like he'd use any money to finish my job? Yeah, i don't think so either.
So Bobola... no. Never. Ever. Ever. Never hire this idiot.

Due to Lori D W**** ( aka rofless in nh ) Pending Trial I was not allowed to write rebutal against this report. Now its time to set story straight. She was arrested on oct 20th 2012 see exeter police logs She was inticted in superior court on aug 5th 2013 were she pleaeded guilty to forgery, was fined and told to be on good behavior.
There was no shoddy work or complaints from her ever mentioned until she was caught signing check. I have letter from building inspector stating roof done correct. Also have letter form indepentant roofing co hired by her insurance stating I was owed more money for work completed.
so need I say NO MORE. she wanted a free roof and pocket thousands of dollars for herself. But when caught she tried to bad mouth me.

now it is time to set record straight.
She was arrested see exeter police logs for oct 20th 2012.
She was also indited in superior court and pleaed guilty on august 5th 2013.

There was never never a mention of shoddy work or complaints from her until she was caught signing check.
