Delivered to the correct address. Occasionally, driver for UPS, FedEx etc will leave an item with a Super or other tenant. Super or tenant is supposed to give it to the recipient right away and notice is supposed to be left to avoid any undue delay. In this case, PayPal spoke with us and customer and decided to give a refund as a courtesy. Customer filed complaints after getting a refund as she was upset it was being done as a favor to us and her. She eventually got her microwave. FedEx and UPS drivers have a long route and occasionally dont leave proper notice which can cause a frustrating delay. As the microwave was eventually delivered and customer got a prompt refund, there is no fraud. Drivers know the buildings they deliver to and know who they can leave it with (super or a retired person who is usually home etc). It is convenient for customers if they can find someone to leave the item with, but if your not home much, it can take time for the other tenant to let you know they are holding your item for you. It is our policy if an item is delivered to an Apartment building not to give a refund for a few days for this reason. Customer wanted a refund within two days of us shipping it. Refund was not justified but given as a courtesy.
