Ramada Plaza Report ripoff, misled, mistreated Ft. Lauderdale Florida
I bought a package 4 nights 5 days to Orlando, Florida via phone direct sale in 2001. It came with a bonus 3 nights 4 days in Las Vegus. It costed me $239 plus $38 processing fee.
Told me I can travel anytime within 18 months, but didn't tell me the time I bought the package that I have to reserve 60 days in advance or pay another $50 for reschedule fee.
The package will be expired this November, 2002, so I have to reserved my trip to Florida and Las Vegus since August to be able to travel in October (remember!! 60 days in advance). However, due to many reasons, I cannot make it and the package almost expired, so I paid another $59 to extend my package; then, I can reschedule to next year.
But you know what, even I extend my package time, they ask me to pay $50 fee for reschedule. That's too much !! So I told them I want to cancel my package because I haven't use the package at all!!!. They said the package is non-refundable, but they didn't say this at the first place when I bought it.
