Reading my previous words now fills me with the utmost regret. When I wrote them I hadnt yet given Betsy a chance to right the wrong and boy do I regret doing so. In anger and haste did I write my report and I am saddened that ROR is so dogmatic in its refusal to retract. Though the death of Teddy was tradgic, it was not the breeder's fault. I have since viewed the ranch and the puppies there are all in fine condition. The fact is, Parvo is responsible for 80% of puppy deaths and ever so unfortunately our puppy happened to contract this virus. What this website is all about is informing consumers so let me inform everyone that while accidents, mistakes, missteps, and acts of G-d can happen anywhere and everywhere in business, what matters most is the response of the business owner in making things right for their customer. I didnt realize what little faith I had in humanity, let alone business, until Betsy cried her grief to us and not only reimbursed costs for the vet and original purchase price, she further offered to BUY us a puppy from another store if it made us feel more comfortable. The desire to help was 100% there and 100% genuine and I truly was and still am blown away. If only I could buy everything from Betsy! She really went above and beyond when even the law did not require so. And I hadnt even invoked the law! She came to these remunerations all on her own! Honestly, this unfortunate transaction happened for a reason. It restored my faith in America to an extent. Hyperbole aside, there really are two kinds of people in the world: good and bad. Betsy and her family are good people. Plain and simple. I would encourage anyone and everyone to go to her for their next puppy without hesitation.
