Randy Stinnett, aka Randy Chesney, claims to be a builder/contractor. He also claims to be the cousin of Kenny Chesney the country singer. He is a con artist. And yes, I was stupid to fall for it - but there may be other stupid people out there and I want to warn them.
He took $1,000 from me for "materials" to build a car port, saying he was doing the labor free (we were supposedly dating - He found me on Plenty of Fish dating site). By 9 months later, all I had was a frame and some tarps. He claimed he was sick, in the hospital, that the weather was bad so he could not finish. He then scammed me out of another $1,500 that he would work off because he owed someone else money. He did 2 hours of work removing trees and was supposed to finish the car port and then never showed up again. I have since learned from his family that he is a con artist and a liar and none of what he told me was true. I also found a rap sheet with several charges and convictions for theft.
I am now left with missing trees and a poorly built car port frame that is in danger of falling on my house.
He operates between Ohio and Tennessee that I know of.
