Seems like I got off easy. I paid the Raphael Group *only* $3,900, after Mike "sold" me. And I was then immediately assigned to someone else... who then quit... who, well, you get the idea. I did end up obtaining my "dream" job - on my own - after 9 months.

What's going on with Raphael now? I hear Mike Aquilino advertising a company called "Innovational Solutions" on a local radio station - sounds like Raphael redux, using the same pop psych verbiage. Where's Nanci? Innovational Solutions, while in a new location, has a cast of characters similar to toe Raphael Group, sans Nanci.

Nanci Raphael Selfish Egomaniac ..When I was asked outright "How do I feel about lying?" I responded that I believe it is wrong.

I interviewed for a job with this company. I am an assertive, effective sales and marketing professional. I am also a Christian person who has some pretty decent ethics. When I was asked outright "How do I feel about lying?" I responded that I believe it is wrong. At that point, I knew my interview with Nancy was done. She then turned on me like a pitbull. Her little lapdog Mike Aquilino then turned on me soon after. He had wooed me for months telling me how much money I could make and how it is very easy and how I would never have to worry about money ever again. He tells you stories of his family and sounds very human...but when they (Nancy and Mike), find out you don't lie, then they turn on you like the Stepford Employers, kind of cold and mannequin-like. They are not sales people, but deceptive rip-off artists who prey on desperate job-seekers. They actually give professional sales people a bad name. It is actually a very distinguished career if it is done right. Nancy stocks her waiting areas with fake "articles" on her and you hear the less than transparent Mike on Philly's biggest news station. They both have made speaking engagements and stiffed groups who cannot "guarantee" a flow of hungry job seekers. All job-seeking networking groups and church groups in the Delaware Valley have been the victims of these wolves in sheep's clothing. This very scheming, scripted dangerous group of people is out to control you and fill their pockets with cash. Mike and Nancy view you as a vulnerable idiot who they can control. You are weak in their eyes. One chat with them and you see. Nancy is vicious. There is no doubt about it. Mike is a little phony who needs to control people as most Napoleons do. When you don't comply, they get very angry, but don't lose control because of their fake Forum training. They don't acknowlegde that their leader Werner Erhard is a sex offender who had to leave the USA. Innovational Solutions is nothing but the Raphael Group with a new name. They tried to reinvent themselves but we are onto them. They need to leave their life of deceit and crime and get a real job, offer a real service, and pay restitution to those they have ripped off. I urge all people looking into Career Management and Marketing to really look deep before they write a check for 5,000 to 10,000 dollars. Crawford Layne Associates is very real. They definitely deliver what they promise. I make over six figures a year in my industry, and the guys from Crawford worked with me for almost three months. I felt the services were worth it because they helped me. I heard their presentation and they let ME make my decision. They followed up a couple weeks later and did not give me "terms" for payment or any other payment scam. If you don't act out of desperation I also checked out Haldane and they were a ripoff along with Raphael. If you make less than 75,000 a year, then you can get all you need on the internet or a community college library. CareerBuilder works well and so does FlipDog for pretty good paying jobs even up to Vice Presidents and Presidents. Don't believe the "hidden job market" myth. You can do most of it by yourself with due diligence. If you have been out of the job search arena for a while, then a reputable career firm can work well.
