I purchased a 4 rm TV and satellite package from Rapid satellite in June of this year. I paid over 600.00 for the package which was sent to the wrong state and lost on redirect to the right state. I was additionally charged 100.00 for a pole mount from Direcway for the satellite since the roof structure was not enough to support such a heavy dish. The problem began with multiple phone numbers to call to find out where the products were and how to get them where they belong. From start to finish I was given a total of 15 different phones numbers every time I called I was made to go through the whole process of verifying who I was and an explanation of what my call was about. The final blow was that the promise signal was not being received from my home. I had specifically informed the person whom I requested the package from what the intended use was for. My son write gaming reviews for online games. He also attends College online. Which both of these require minimal latency. There was excessive latency the ping was coming back at 3000. I called within 2 weeks to cancel and demanded a full refund less 100.00 for handling fees. I was told that they would not issue a refund that Direcway and DirecTV had to issue a refund. I am still fighting for a refund of the returned product. Direcway and DirectTV told me that rapid satellite collected the money and they are the ones to refund. Rapid Satellite says that Direcway and DirectTV are the ones responsible for the refund. I have not gotten any satistfaction to date and this is now 6 weeks after the 4 receivers were returned. The Satellite portion has not been returned since no one has sent me a return box or shipping label the item is packed and ready to ship back! If I buy a product in any store throughout this country and hte product does not meet the promise given or is defective I would be entitle to a full refund. Rapidsatellite are scam artists. Anyone interested in filing a civil complaint please add your comments! In order to elliminate the problem the satellite company should drop the middle man and deal with their customers directly and eliminate the confussion. the more people involved the more confused and the more costly the cycle becomes. This is similar to the Cutco/Vector marketing corporation issue with disatisfied sales reps.
