Started working for this company the week of the 4th of July, 2017. I have worked there for three weeks and got a text message from raquel stating that I am not aloud on Wal-Mart's property due to the fact that in the past I was shopping with someone whom was caught shoplifting. But keep in mind that before I started working the remodel job at walmart I was required to send a text message of both my social security and drivers license in order for the company to identify who I am and gain me access to the store, after sending these pictures to raquel I soon got a message back stating that every thing was good and I could report to work. And now 4 weeks later I am deemed banned from walmart therefore I can not work the location so I was fired. And now she is trying to claim that I have no experience in the construction trade, mind you I am a licensed and insured contractor......no experience? So now she is trying to avoid paying me or allowing me to get my tools that I left on the location. I am giving her two weeks to pay me the money she owes to me which is roughly around 1500 dollars. If I do not have my money in those two weeks then I plan on taking this to court as well as filing a report to the better business bureau. All in all....do NOT work for this company! For one it starts out shady right out the gate considering the fact that there is no face to face interview, all you have to do is call the number you find she asks you a few questions about your experience and what you would like to be paid, this means that even if you have no experience at all you can just lie and say you do....she rodent ask for references or anything like that, and I can tell you that the group I was working with surely did not have much experience if any at all. For example, it tools 4 guys 10 hours to frame out a steel door and yet they didn't get the door in because the framing was way off. Another example is it took 2 10 hour shifts to hang 7 sheets of 10' x 4' 1/2" drywall.......20 hour?! Are you serious? I was hanging entire houses in 20 hours. Oh have I told you that this company is like a 3 man operation? Yea, she operates out of her own home. Beware people....do not work for this company or even allow this company to work on your property considering the fact that all the guys I was working with were convicted felons as well as being high all night on the job. I will be back on here in two weeks to keep you updated on my case to inform if I get paid or if I must contact a lawyer and sue Absolute Construction llc.
